Bonfire of Fears

Stigma is bleeding,
My hands feel tied up
Longing and needing
Centuries brought us apart.

Mothers of sorrow
Why so much grief?
Life is not borrowed
Claim your relief!

Stigma is bleeding,
Heart full of wrath
Beating, keeps beating
Pushing through dark,
Damp crevice to light.

Women of bloodline,
I send you my Love!
Lust is a poison
It won’t fill you up.

Stigma is bleeding,
Cheated men stick to their guns
Resentful, resented
Gap to bridge, wounds to stitch up.

Why daughters and sisters
Are burdened with blame?
Stigma is bleeding
To bleed out the shame.
